Club Membership in Rotary International
The membership of RI consists of Rotary clubs organized and existing in accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws of RI. When a club is admitted to membership in RI it is required to adopt as its constitution the standard Rotary club constitution. However, some clubs admitted to membership prior to June 6, 1922, when the standard constitution was adopted, are entitled to and operate under the Standard Constitution with certain sanctioned variations.

Club Assembly: Meeting of all clubs officers, directors, and committee chairmen held for the purpose of conferring on the program and activities of the club.

Club Forum: Formal meeting of the entire club membership to informmembers about service activities.
Transferred Member: There is now a new provision whereby a member of a Rotary club may transfer membership from one club to another with their original Club's recommendation.

As a local unit of RI, a club should not become a member of/or assume
obligations of membership in any other organization.
